This is where it all begins! From baptisms to nursery service to the Kid’s Club during worship, we love having our youngest friends present at House of Prayer.
Elementary (K-5th grade)
Our Sunday School program is tailored especially for this age group, as they learn the stories of the Bible while creating new and lasting friendships. No need to be a member to attend… all are welcome!
Your First Visit!
From the moment you walk into House of Prayer, you will notice lots of friendly faces eager to help you along.
Your first stop will be the welcome desk in the entry. There, a volunteer will help you locate the important locations within our church and answer any lingering questions you might have in regards to your visit.
Next, you will want to head up the stairs or take the elevator to the second floor, where our Sunday school instructors will be eagerly waiting to greet you and make you feel welcomed and at home. Get ready to make some amazing new friends!
Have a Question?
What time is Sunday School, and where do I go?
Sunday School is on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 am, from September through May. We meet upstairs on the second floor in room 210.
Do I need to be a member of the church to attend?
All are welcome to be a part of our Sunday School program. You can be a church member, a friend of a member, a friend of a friend, or a newcomer… we want to invite you to join us in our faith journey.
Do you have classes for those children in Pre-K?
Yes, we do have a separate class for those who are in Pre-K and younger. This group meets in room 211.
Are there separate classes for each grade level?
We all meet together in a large group, then separate into smaller working groups throughout the class time. If you have an older or younger sibling that you would like to hang with, we certainly encourage you to do so!
Do I need to commit to coming every week in order to participate in Sunday School?
Each week a new lesson is taught that is meant to be a stand-alone experience. While we would love to have you come each week, there certainly is no requirement to do so.
Is the Kid’s Club open during the Sunday School hour?
In addition to providing Kid’s Club & nursery during the two worship services, we also are ready and willing to accommodate your littlest ones during the Sunday School hour.
Talk to a Leader.
Meet Mark!
Mark Dellagiacoma is our Director of Youth and Family Ministries and has been serving in youth ministry for over 20 years. He is very passionate about meeting youth where they are at, and helping them to discover God in all that they do.
Mark plays guitar and loves teaching others how to play. In his spare time, he likes to repair and repurpose antiques, shop at thrift stores and estate sales, and do other outdoor activities with his daughter Marley (9th Grade).

Elaine grew up at House of Prayer, and she and her husband Richard have four kids involved in our youth programs… Izabelle, Audrey, Isaac, and Amanda.
Meet Jennifer!
