High School
9th-12th Grade
What it’s all about…
For all our 9th to 12th graders out there, the high school ministry at House of Prayer is a great place to grow your faith and connect with new friends. We offer weekly meet-ups to check-in with friends, monthly fellowship gatherings, and service opportunities both at the church and in the community. We also take an annual adventure trip during the summer that is nurturing and transformational for each student participant.
Whether you regularly attend worship at House of Prayer or not, all are welcome to be a part of our exciting high school program!

Have a Question?
Do I have to be member of House of Prayer to attend high school events events??
No! While we would love for your family members to attend and become members, it is certainly not required.
Who can join the high school youth group?
Any high school aged student! We don't have any requirements or rules for joining, and are accepting of all people.
What happens at typical youth group meetings?
A typical youth group meeting will include socialization, fun activities, and some spiritual/devotional time. We also will have more social and other fun events throughout the year.
Are youth group events supervised?
Yes! All youth group events are run by our Youth Director, and will often have other adult volunteers in attendance, usually parents.
Are there volunteer opportunities for the youth?
Yes! We host one or two big service projects during the year. There are also numerous weekly opportunities to volunteer and assist during our Sunday worship.
How can parents get involved?
There are all sorts of ways parents can help foster a successful youth group. Carpools, picking up food or other needed supplies, and most importantly, volunteering to spend time with the youth, are all helpful and needed. Contact Stephen or any staff member to get connected and involved!
Talk to a Leader.
Meet Mark!
Mark Dellagiacoma is our Director of Youth and Family Ministries and has been serving in youth ministry for over 20 years. He is very passionate about meeting youth where they are at, and helping them to discover God in all that they do.
Mark plays guitar and loves teaching others how to play. In his spare time, he likes to repair and repurpose antiques, shop at thrift stores and estate sales, and do other outdoor activities with his daughter Marley (8th Grade).
Meet Dan!
Dan Glebe teaches high school Physics and first became a member of House of Prayer back in 1977. He really enjoys discussing his faith with the youth, and helping them understand what a great gift we have in Jesus!
